Environment Division(ED) is responsible for:
- Issuing Environment Clearance as per “Environment Assessment Act 2000”
- Town Beautification and Landscaping
- Urban Waste Management as per “Waste Prevention and Management Regulation 2012” and “ Waste Management Act 2009”
- Management of Urban Forestry
- Waste Water Management and Sewerage services
- Advocacy & sensitization regarding Waste Management, Disaster and other Environment issues.
