A brief Background history of the school

Norbu Academy was earlier known as Phajoding Lower Secondary School which was established in 2007. Till 2014, the school had classes ranging from PP – VIII. The school was formally owned by Mrs. Dechen Wangmo since 1989 till 2011. In the year 2013, the school was bought by Mr. Kezang Norbu and renamed it as Tenzin Lower Secondary School. The school got up graded to Higher Secondary School in the year 2015 offering Arts and Commerce stream. The first batch of class XII appeared BHSEC in 2016 producing 62%. By this year, school has extended the play field ground and started with MPH hall construction. Norbu Aacdemy is the only private school in Phuentsholing which provides Excellent Primary Education with the motto: “Your Child’s Foundation School”.
