As Deepawali festival is approaching, Phuentsholing Thromde in collaboration with Royal Bhutan Police would like to notify all the shopkeepers and vendors to refrain from selling crackers with immediate effect to reduce air/noise pollution and also for public safety and decorum. We would like to discourage all the resident from using all forms of the crackers during the festival time. If anyone is found selling and handling crackers during monitoring and inspection, he/she shall be dealt as per the law.
