This is to notify the public that Dengue is becoming a public health concern for the residence of Phuentsholing. For these, we urge the public of demarcated area (Map attached) to kindly comply with the activities that are enlisted below. These activities shall be inspected for compliance by appointed De-suups and sanitary inspection.

1. These activities shall be carried out on weekly basis, starting 30.09.2022.
2. Activities shall be carried out by the tenants/ staffs of the building, and would be monitored by the house owner/ caretaker/ In-charge.
3. Activities shall be inspected for compliance by appointed De-suups and sanitary inspector.
4. Indoor (inside the house including balcony) activities include:
   1. Checking items such as barrel drum, drip pan of the fridge, flower vase, flower pots and saucer plates, and other water-holding items for mosquito larva.
   2. Discarding of water if larva is found.
   3. Changing the water, at least weekly, if larva is not found.
5. Outdoor activities include:
   1. Checking items such as barrel drums, syntax tank, mixture bucket, and excavator buckets, old tires, waste items and other water-holding items for mosquito larva. 
   2. Covering the items in order to prevent mosquito from entering.
   3. Discarding the water and keeping the item flipped up-side-down.
   4. Disposing or burying the item.
