Phuentsholing Thromde would like to gently remind the general public to partake in the Zero Waste Hour which observed on the 2nd Day of every month(from 4:00PM-5:00PM). Considering the past trend and figures, we have noticed that the participation from masses is just satisfactory. All business establishments should be closed for an hour (from 4:00PM-5:00PM) and owners should clean their premises. Therefore, Thromde would like to urge the general public to earnestly participate whether it falls on weekends or Government holidays. This occasion should be considered as an opportunity to reflect on managing our own waste in our community.

Henceforth,"Zero Waste Hour" should be a regular mark and should be observed on the 2nd Day of every month.
